The company manufactures products through the old-fashioned way to provide high and also produces a variety of vegetable leather. The origin of vegetable leather is the Medieval Tuscany. Since the 8th century, Tuscan artisans passed downed their traditional techniques and also never neglected to brush up on the latest techniques. Badalassi Carlo with experience and knowledge over the centuries, leather is made based on eco-friendly technique despite the technique is time consuming.

Badalassi Carlo leather is processed by using the vacchetta technique; it removes hair from the raw skin and uses natural oil added with Bovine shinbone powder when using vegetable oil after hair is removed from the raw skin.

  MINERVA BOX is characterized by milling processing, providing natural milling (embo) on the surface.
  Natural milling (embo) is created partly as leather conflict one another for a fixed period of time in a large drum with leather and chemical in a certain percentage.
  This milling (embo) is visible naturally and partly unlike other artificially photographed patterns.
  The more it is used, the glossier and the unique appeal of leather as the full vegetable contains with rich oil.

  Unlike the Minerva Box, Minerva leather is plain leather.
  Minerva is unmilled, plain type leather.
  Minerva is dull matte leather at first but the more you use it, the deeper the color appears.
  The leather is versatile as it grow mo lustrous with time.
  Its moisture and soft texture allow making reversible bags, unlike the whole skin, e.g. Buttero and Dakota.

  Wax is the vegetable milling leather like Minerva Box. After the leather is mill processed,
  wax is placed on top of the leather for oil pull-up process.
  The surface has lots of oil and it appears in its color when bent, which has a two-tone effect.

  After the knife cuts the leather is dyed again and rubbed by hands to create colors.
